Miniatures
The Bruce Museum has an exhibit of the small-scale sculpture from different artists including this one from Rosa de Jong from Amsterdam. At yesterday's Urban Sketching outing, I tried to focus and draw three of her Micro Matter miniature sculptures.

Are they painted or done another way? Nice!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Joan, no they aren't painted but delicately put together from small pieces of materials, like those model ships in a bottle, sort of. The artist uses industrial glass vials instead. The Micro Matter link has a description of her art. Thanks for visiting.
