Yesterday, at lunch time, I pulled over a side street parking spot near work along the Midland Ave. South direction in Port Chester, NY. Basically, I got most of what I wanted to capture in that half-hour lunch sketch but after work, I spent another half-hour looking to add more details on that scene. For almost 10 months now, I pass by this road daily on my way to work so I know what to look for. All the other fine details were added last evening from a photo reference I took yesterday. A few more finishing touches added this morning. Overall, it was a good meditative exercise. Ballpoint pen sketch.
