Near the corner of Pioneer Street and Van Brunt Streets, there's this store with a weathered sign that says "Brooklyn Ice House". It really caught my attention.
With my back against the street corner post, I sketched this scene. A couple sat on the bench in front of the store and casually chatted with some local passers by. I'm thinking they all must be regular goers from the neighborhood. Color later added at home.
