The South Street Seaport
It was a bright, sunny, crisp, spring day at the South Street Seaport on Pier 17 to be with the Urban Sketchers last Saturday. I volunteered to host this event so I stayed put in one spot to sketch, by the Circle Line Tours booth area, where the sketchers could easily locate me even when they came in later in the morning. Overall, it was a fun event and a great turnout, too!

Thanks for hosting, Mel. It was a great turnout and lots of great work was created. Your sketch came out great! Sorry I missed your activity, but the architecture was calling me.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Joan. Indeed, it was a very creative day for all who participated. It's hard not to get enticed by the wonderful old architecture in this area. I prefer them better than the newer ones. You made the right call.
