In the afternoon, we took a short trip along 9W near Nyack, NY. The wind was cold even with the sun fully out on a clear and cloudless afternoon. On our way to Piermont, we took a different turn that brought us to Sparkill, NY which is a nice little town. A corner cafe caught our attention so we parked our car nearby and had some coffee at Noble Cafe.

Weekend Saturday Sketches
On Saturday morning, after my haircut, I did an in-car sketch of this now-closed house of worship. The parking lot near the barber shop provided a great view of this building on a very bright and beautiful day. I'm also happy that the nib repair done on my Pilot CH 912 FA was just fantastic, it glides so smoothly on the paper. It was inspiring and a joy to use it.
