A week ago, Anne and I drove up to Falmouth, MA for a weekend getaway and celebration. We left house early Saturday morning for brunch at the Mystic Diner before heading toward our final destination. We stayed at a nice B&B place, took an afternoon walk at the Spohr Gardens and had an early dinner at an Italian restaurant on Main Street. The following morning, we ate the included Continental Breakfast at the Frederick William House before checking out of the B&B. We made two stops along the way before driving back home. The first one was at the Nobska Lighthouse and the other was at the Edward Gorey House Museum in Yarmouth, MA. So glad we had a fun getaway trip.

I always enjoy trips like that, but haven't done one in a while. It is fun to go somewhere different for a recharge. I especially love the lighthouse sketch. The white on the toned paper really makes it stand out.
ReplyDeleteThanks Joan. I need more trips like this to recharge, like you said. We have to have fun!
