A Coffee Shop sketch
Not one, but two sketches done last weekend at this nice coffee house in Long Island City, Queens. I try to faithfully observe and capture the gestures quickly. When done, I try to put a name to the subjects I sketch. Usually, they would gladly give their name when asked. If I feel like it, on another occasion, I go back to the captured sketch and add the hatching later.
