This year we watched the Sunset Blvd., a Broadway Musical, from way up the balcony seats at St. James Theatre. We were seated 15 minutes before the show started to which I used in sketching the whole scene from my point of view. The lead singer/character has a powerful voice that commanded great interest from the audience. I wasn't sure what to expect from the show but I enjoyed it in the end.

I know the story and can imagine it happening before your eyes. I love the sketch of the audience and a bit of the stage. Nicely done! I've been missing sketching with the group so I'm hoping there is a good location when the group resumes in the new year. I will probably be coming in solo since Suzala is having shoulder surgery right after the new year and will be out of commission for a while. Hope to see you as 2025 begins.
