It's the Labor Day holiday weekend and Sunday was a great day to head out to Coney Island Beach. I took the time to explore a little bit of this famous beach and play land complete with thrill rides and fun stuff to do. One day is not enough to have fun sketching here.

Nice, colorful sketch of the wonder wheel. I haven't been there in a while and was tempted to join Susan and Suzala there on Saturday. They said it had been really hot and I know that area doesn't have much shade, so I'm glad I didn't go. I think Sunday was a better choice...not quite as sunny and hot. We will have to plan a visit there.
ReplyDeleteTrue! not much shade. Lucky that I saw two young fellas setting up a table to promote 94.7 country music station next to a shaded bench from their portable canopy over it. Of course, I had to take that bench! Didn't win any major prize, just a sticker when I played their spin-a-win. Thank you for visiting.
