Poppy's Cafe Outside Dining
Now that it is summer, the city of Rye made a stretch of Purchase Street in downtown area more pedestrian and business friendly by converting the parking spaces in front of restaurants as extended outdoor dining areas. This to help with the observance of proper safe distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic. A bench across from the Poppy's Cafe gave me a nice view of these diners last Sunday.

I haven't been able to go sketch any of the restaurants here that are doing dining al fresco. I guess I have to remedy that and get out around lunchtime someday.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, dining al fresco, is what it was. Sketching them incognito was just relaxing and fun. I hope you get to go on a lunch date with Jerry sometime.
