On four occasions, I sat on on the raised planter facing the 42nd Street at the One Vanderbilt Pedestrian Plaza. I use some 15 minutes to observe and sketch the people, the scene, the vibe of the place. It was fun to add more details from the previous sketch because the more I look, the more I saw what I hadn't noticed before.
