A Tuesday morning delay for the 8:20am MNR train to the city. Good for me because I had a late start to my day. Once on board, I had to sketch the scene before me.

I love the way you handled the crowd on the train. Were you standing or sitting?
ReplyDeleteI saw your comment on my blog about the lighthouse posts and how far back they go. I had another blog previously but all of a sudden I couldn't post anything to it. (watercolorsbyjoan.blogspot.com) I had many people try to get that one to work for me again but had no luck reviving it. I ended up starting a new one which is the one that I am using now. That first one goes back to May of 2006 and you can still access it. I've been blogging a long time. Check it out some time if you have a little time. It starts with my first trip to Italy with Jerry.
Wow! That's an incredible stretch of time you've been blogging, Joan. I had no idea. I'lll check it out sometime. Meanwhile, I was sitting on the aisle side of the two seater row. This guy (R) was right in front of me. One thing I notice is the shifting calculation in scale as I sketch depending on what attracts me first. Adding to it in the process gets skewed by whatever presents itself in the scene.
