The water towers
The view from the 19th floor room of the hotel where my relatives stayed two weekends ago was just amazing. Looking north of Cedar Street, the shorter building next to us offered a nice view of the rooftop patio and water towers. Too bad, I didn't have enough time to sketch more of the scene.

This is great! We need to find a place to sketch from above for one of our sessions. A few years back someone took us to her office and we had wonderful views of the rooftops to sketch.
ReplyDeleteRooftop sketching is fun! However, I find it challenging since the perspective can be tricky at times. I think the weekday USK outing this week is at a DUMBO rooftop restaurant. Thank you for visiting, Joan.
