Post Thanksgiving Day sketches
The train was running on the weekend schedule. I noticed this commuter across the aisle on Car 9128. His relaxed slumped gesture was fun to sketch. Anne, beside me, is also fun to sketch but I misjudged how much more space I need to get her complete profile. The next stage, adding color to a sketch, is now a more fun thing and a challenging work to do.

How fun that you were able to sketch yourself into the scene in the sketch of Anne. It was a productive day...nice work!!
ReplyDeleteYes, it was! I've a few more raw sketches done that day but haven't applied color wash to it yet. I was channelling Crumb's style like Dr. Jeff would in his pen and ink sketches. Thank you. Glad you stopped by.
