This sketch was done on that chilly Sunday evening (Nov. 13). The fountain pen was hesitating to write so I mixed up the sketch with the trusty ballpoint pen (faint thin lines). I've been meaning to add some watercolor wash to it but who knows when that can happen. Instead, I'm posting the raw image now before this one gets shuffled and lost into the unfinished sketches.

Looks great as it is in ink, but I know I will love it with color too. You not only captured the poses of the people, the counter itself, but did a great job on the lettering on all the signs. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI love the ink sketch as is, but I know I will love it when and if you get to add the watercolor. Nice job on the people, the counter area, and all that great lettering. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Joan. It was a fun outing and I enjoyed all the little details I marked down on this page. There are times when I wish I know more about digital coloring so I can still preserve the ink sketch and not mess it up on adding the watercolor wash.
